We would be delighted to provide entertainment for your special event. J & S Entertainment has been providing quality disc jockey / emcee services for weddings and parties since 1988. J & S Entertainment, based out of Clinton, Connecticut has provided entertainment for hundreds of weddings and parties over the last 19 years. We pride ourselves in our own personal appearance, our PA systems, musical taste, selection, and the ability to motivate your guests. Our wedding DJ’s always wear a tuxedo (unless otherwise specified). Most wedding performances however are handled by owner, DJ Joe Bunovsky, who’s reputation stands out among the American Disc Jockey Association’s top DJ / MC’s. Our Services In addition to standard DJ and Emcee services, we offer a wide variety of other options to add that special touch to your event. We have sound systems capable of handling any size event. We have partnerships with several different musical talents that could possibly be mixed into your event. Some of our partnerships include the following: Jazz quintet, Classical trio, Accordionist, Harpist, and singers. We also have light shows and special effects that can be added to your party package. YOUR Disc Jockey You
will always have the opportunity to meet your DJ in person before your
event. In most cases, your DJ
will set up an appointment to meet with you right at your home allowing
you and the DJ to become comfortable with one another and plan out all of
the details of your event. Your
DJ will be well versed in presenting the style and genre of music you and
your function require. We
have both male and female DJ’s available to suite any preference you may
have. Your DJ will always be
dressed appropriately for your event.
Your DJ will never consume alcoholic beverages during your event. OUR Music Selections With over 60,000 song titles, we have an incredible selection of music available for play. Our library stretches from the 40’s to today’s top hits, new age, classical, top 40, country, ethnic, and more. Your DJ will arrive at your function with fully digital, database driven music library. Your music requests will be just a few mouse clicks away. And with all that selection, we are sure to have more than enough music to fill your every desire. FYI – a typical 5 hour show allows for only about 75 individual songs to play. When you factor out the dinner and cocktail time period, only about 40 songs can be played. This is something to keep in mind when making a request list for dancing. OUR Sound Systems Our
PA systems are configured with commercial grade components, housed in
clean compact cases, and are upgraded on a continual basis.
You won’t see a table full of clunky gear or wires draped all
over the place. The appropriate
equipment is always selected for your event location.
We will never arrive with an inadequate sound system.
Likewise, we will not setup a concert ready system in a hall set to
seat 50 guests. We have equipment suited for small gatherings as well as
huge hall’s and outdoor events. All
music playback is digital. We
also have wireless microphone systems available for your use at every
event. OUR Pricing We are not the most expensive DJ company out there, many DJ’s are certainly much more expensive. We are also not the least expensive. We are however the best at what we do, the way we do it! In this industry, the old adage is very true – You get what you pay for. With J&S, you won’t be paying for an over inflated personality charging $250 an hour or more. But, you won’t be paying an inexperienced DJ with sub-par equipment $90 an hour either. Our typical charges range from $150 - $175 per hour depending on the function and it’s requirements. Weddings typically run on the higher end of the pricing spectrum at $175 - $200 per hour due to the highly involved planning, preparation, and client contact. Between the initial planning meeting, follow up phone calls, and last minute details, typically the pre-planning phase of a wedding is in excess of 2-3 hours. This planning and contact is just as important as the performance itself, as it directly affects it. We consider ourselves expert wedding and entertainment planners and we want your party to run perfectly. Don’t forget, we do this every weekend all year round. We’ve seen it all – we know the right and the wrong way to run a party. YOUR Decision We
recommend that you search the competition, but don’t get caught up in
the search. There are
literally hundreds of DJ agencies out there and everybody claims to have a
